Best Disney Channel Halloween Specials

13 Days of Halloween: Day Five

Let’s face it- we’re all a bunch of teenagers who wish it was still socially acceptable to be watching Disney Channel. We lived through the golden age of Disney Channel, with shows like The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and That’s So Raven. Nowadays most Disney Channel shows can be summed up by using the poop emoji, which is why we still go back to the classics. Since Halloween is quickly coming up, we thought we would revisit and rank the best Disney Channel Halloween specials from our childhood.

  1. Hannah Montana: “Torn Between Two Hannahs” (2006)

Miley Cyrus played dual roles in this episode, both herself and Luann.  When Miley’s cousin Luann comes to visit during Halloween, things get heated. Luann eventually ties up Miley and vows to reveal to the world that Miley is actually Hannah Montana. Besides seeing two Mileys at once, this episode was good, but not nearly as scary as some others.

  1. Wizards of Waverly Place: “Halloween” (2009)

In order to spice up the Russo family’s haunted house, Alex travels to the Wizard World and grabs some ghosts to help out. Unfortunately, the ghosts aren’t frightening at all, except for Mantooth, who’s able to distort his family into something sinister. Everyone runs away screaming, so the night was a success.

  1. Kim Possible: “October 31st (2002)

Kim is not feeling trick-or-treating with Ron Stoppable again this Halloween. So, she lies to him and her family, so she can go to a party and try to impress Josh Mankey. But, because she has some liquid metal contraption on her wrist, thanks to Dr. Drakken, her lies have a type of Pinocchio effect — except instead of her nose growing bigger, she slowly turns into a robot.

  1. The Suite Life of Zack and Cody: “The Ghost in Suite 613” (2005)

Zack, Cody, London, Maddie and Esteban Julio Ricardo Montoya de la Rosa Ramírez decide to camp out in the abandoned suite 613, that’s supposedly haunted. After several fright gags and a very creepy séance, it’s revealed to all be a prank on Zack. Of course, at the end of the episode, the twins see a woman crawl into a painting, and then run out of the room screaming.

  1. Phil of the Future: “Halloween” (2004)

When Phil and Keely learn Debbie is a cyborg, they do everything in their power to stop her, all while wearing a two-headed hockey player costume. Debbie goes nuts and enslaves Pim and other students to make 50,000 cupcakes for the needy, but she quickly overheats due to stress and melts into a puddle of brown goo.

  1. That’s So Raven: “Don’t Have a Cow” (2003)

What could be more iconic than Raven and Chelsea turning into COWS — complete with hooves, snouts and cud. After accidentally dropping her “Don’t Eat Meat” button into their spell concoction, the girls are turned into cows. If that’s not iconic, then we don’t know what is.
